Finance Analyst-Business Partner

12-month Fixed Term Contract

Up to £50,000

Our Client, a rapidly expanding organisation within the Service sector are looking for an experienced Finance Analyst to join their busy team. With over 140 branches the company have grown significantly and this would be a great time to join the organisation.

An ideal candidate would be proactive, a good team player and able to grow and develop with the company. This role will involve some travel so a candidate must hold a current, full drivers licence. This candidate must be confident to work with the Head of Financial Planning and meet with senior stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

·Acting as a true business partner, working with all areas across the operation and truly getting behind the business

·Provide accurate and timely regular reporting and analysis within the defined areas of responsibility

Analyse and interpret financial performance; challenge shortfalls and drive achievement of financial targetsActively work with operational management to develop understanding of business performance·Constantly innovate new and automated ways of providing greater business intelligence to support business development and growth

Provide analytical rigour, guidance and support to business initiativesFinancial modelling and data preparation to support monthly and ad-hoc management reporting, budgeting and forecastingAct as an ambassador for the company at all times·Be fully committed to the Employee Charter, the visions, values and standards of FPL and to lead by example

Essential Requirements:

Solid understanding of financial/management accounting gained through experience and/or study. Very strong and proven financial modelling, data analysis, report definition and production skillsStrong business partnership experienceVery strong Microsoft Excel and database skills with the ability to build, document and support Excel models for regular use Able to work effectively in a pressurised environmentReliable and flexibleWilling to travel to support the needs of the roleBe proactive, able to work on own initiative and manage/prioritise own workloadAble to develop and grow with the companyPrevious experience in a multi-site, B2C environment preferable.This is a full time, contract opportunity working Monday to Friday, and is an exciting opportunity to join a growing company working at the forefront of their industry.
