The following are the core responsibilities for this role. The scope and focus of the day to day activities will, however, evolve dependent on business requirements.

System Analyst Job Description:

looking for a strong Business Analyst to join their existing talented BA function and support their continued growth.

At present, the technology underpinning their advertising boking and fulfilment functions is undergoing significant change. You'll work closely with key business stakeholders and suppliers to understand and assess requirements for the new systems, challenging Embedded thinking and guiding timely decision-making. You'll also have the ability to optimise and improve capabilities whilst ensuring critical business needs are met.

Experience to deliver both business process and technology change.

Experience in designing the requirement process using the UML diagrams.
Prior experience working with both Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
Experience of defining ways of working in relation to business analysis and leading on standard setting and quality control.
Experience of scope definition and control.
Experience of process mapping and improvement, including the use of standard methodologies and tools.
Experience of creating user stories, customer journey and personas for use by development teams.
Experience of benefits realisation, identification and validation. Experience of requirements documentation and acceptance criteria, working with business teams.

Experience of writing testing scenarios and inputting to test activities, including co-ordination of user involvement.
Experience of business readiness planning, including defining readiness criteria to inform go/no go gates.
Experience of working with a wide range of stakeholders, including IT, business users and customers and of adapting communications style to suit the audience.

Have experience in leading workshops with a variety of stakeholders

Excellent communication and presentation skills

Excellent requirement documenting skills in the form of use cases, user stories and functional specifications

Understanding of the full eCommerce product life cycle

Working knowledge of the WebSphere E-commerce platforms

Working knowledge of Medical records streaming

Proven track record of successful delivery of end to end project life cycles

Experienced in liaising with 3rd party vendors

Due to the nature of the projects it is also highly desirable that you possess:

Creating fully automated CI build and deployment infrastructure and processes for multiple projects

Installing, configuring and maintaining Continuous Integration, Automation and Configuration Management tools

Working closely with Architecture, Development, Test, Security and IT Services teams

Developing scripts for build, deployment, maintenance and related tasks using Jenkins, Groovy, Python, Bash, VSTS and PowerShell
