My client is a growing family owned company based in Chorley. Through expansion they are looking for an Accounts/Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their friendly , well established Accounts team.
Your new role
As an Accounts/Purchase Ledger Clerk you will be responsible for managing the end to end purchase ledger process. This will include matching batching and coding invoices onto the ledger, and ensuring this is done accurately. You will also be responsible for the preparation and processing of weekly and monthly payment runs, so you must be comfortable with these processes to provide an efficient service. You will also have involvement in bank and supplier statement reconciliations, as well as liaising with suppliers to resolve any queries. To aid in your own development you will be given exposure to other areas of finance within the team which will help to enhance your knowledge and experience.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have previous experience of processing purchase invoices and in preparing payments runs. You will be confident in picking new systems up quickly and will be happy offering an excellent standard of customer services at all times.
