Required Skills and Experience:

Articulate and numerateCommercially aware with excellent interpersonal and communication skillsIndependent, organised and able to work on your own initiativeFlexible approach to working to meet the needs of the businessManagerially hands on and technically ableAbility to prioritisePro-active and assertiveCurrent Driving Licence with own vehicleMinimum 5 years’ experience in residential development, construction and or property financeMRICS or other relevant qualification desirable but not essentialAbility to read and understand property and financial documents such as technical QS / valuation reportsA deep understanding of administration, running and cost control of smaller construction contractsAble to step into senior management roleKey Responsibilities:

Assisting to manage a portfolio of short-term loans secured on commercial and residential propertyAdministration control of residential developments located throughout the UK but predominantly in London and the South of EnglandLoan management issues including repayment of interest, loan renewals and loan repaymentMaintenance of property insurance, payment of ground rent and service chargesRealisation of assets and completion of unfinished developments where necessaryReview QS reports and action issues / queriesLiaise with developers and their professional advisorsRegular Site visits - highlight potential issues and potential solutions. Monitor progressManagement Responsibilities:

Management of day to day issues arising in a growing loan bookProvide technical advice to underwriting department including review of valuations and reports on titleInterface with monitoring surveyors and legal advisers, valuers and LPA ReceiversMonitoring construction progress by regular site visits and draw down of stage advances on development loansMonitoring development loans as to budget and programMaintaining loans within credit mandateRegular liaison with borrowersRecovery of arrears of interestDealing with expired loans by negotiating repayment, extension or renewalApproval of redemptions and release of securityMonthly reporting: Expiry / renewal & Board
