Public Practice Specialists Clark Wood are currently working with a leading independent and well renowned firm of chartered accountants who are seeking to recruit an ACA / ACCA Qualified Accounts & Audit Senior to join the growing team in their office located near Ilford.

The successful candidate will be ACA / ACCA qualified (or at the final stages of their studies) and will have extensive experience in all aspects of general practice work including Accounts, Tax and Audit.

You will be responsible for working with a varied range of clients from an array of business sectors although a proportion of the portfolio will include working with charities and not for profit entities. As such experience of working with clients in this field would be highly beneficial.

You will be responsible for managing, controlling and conducting the audit fieldwork for a diverse range of clients, developing strong relationships with those clients, and helping to win new clients for the firm. Your will also include preparation of financial statements for audit and non-audit clients as well as the associated tax compliance work

Duties and Responsibilities

Planning, controlling and conducting the audit fieldwork for a portfolio of the firm's clients under the direction of the audit partner and manager group
Preparation of financial statements for audit and non-audit clients
Building and maintaining client relationships
Managing and developing junior members of the team
Preparation of Corporation tax computations and returns

Skills

ACA or ACCA Qualified (Individuals at the final stages of their studies will also be considered)
Experience of leading Audit Assignments
