Sales Ledger Clerk / Eccles - Manchester / Excellent Salary + Benefits / Temporary to Permanent Role / Free Parking + Flexible Working Hours

NC Associates are working exclusively with a market leading services organisation in Eccles who are looking to recruit a Sales Ledger Clerk to assist the current finance team. As a Sales Ledger Clerk you will support the credit controller and Finance Manager with various duties within Sales Ledger.


  • Creating and processing sales invoices in a timely and accurate basis using Sage Accounts
  • Dealing with queries in an efficient manner
  • Dealing with queries in an efficient but sensitive manner
  • Work to a weekly timetable creating invoices and invoicing processes from a number of spreadsheets, continuously improving
  • Ensuring that receipts are processed to be banked promptly and in full and allocated on a timely and accurate basis
  • Allocating receipts to sales invoices
  • Setting up new customers, processing charges and other account variations on the system
  • Work closely with the credit control function as required to minimize the occurrence of problem debts Processing of refunds and adjustments
  • Liaison with other colleagues to ensure that anomalies are investigated/queries dealt with in a timely manner

Essential Experience Required

To be Successful in your application for this role you MUST have the following experience

  • Experience of working within a similar role within Sales Ledger
  • Experience of using Sage 50 will be advantageous
  • Excellent team player
  • Good Excel skills
