An opportunity has arisen to join a world leading tech firm through a transition in the finance department, reporting directly to the revenue director. This global role is accountable for managing the licencing & royalty revenue accounting. You will also be supporting in the transition from IAS 18 to IFRS 15 systems within the department

Typical Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

·Technical accounting authority for all revenue accounting at a managerial level

·Drive revenue recognition on complex deal structures

·Review and approve all revenue related contracts & service agreements

·Provide finance advise & guidance for sales opportunities in weekly business review meetings

·Innovate & develop new programs in line with revenue recognition policy

·Drive & support the IFRS 15 implementation team

·Handle revenue bearing contracts through the accounting system in SAP

·Liaise directly with the Director of revenue providing valuable feedback in preparation for management reporting and forecasting

Candidate skills required:

·Educated to a degree level or possess equivalent experience

·Qualified accountant ACCA, CIMA, ACA or Equivalent

· Proven experience working in a finance function ideally in Big 4 accounting or specialising in revenue recognition

·Experience leading a team & implementing successful rollout of programmes & operational improvements

·Strong analytical mind-set & approach to problem solving with a strong work ethic and an appetite for change
