Senior Audio Visual Technician – Working as part of a dedicated AV team to deliver complete AV operations to Live Events, Corporate Conferences, Venues and Livery Halls


  • Preparing, delivering, installing, operating and de-rigging the audio-visual equipment
  • Technicians should have a good all-round AV technical ability
  • Ability to oversee local crew and freelance technicians
  • Installation of Set & Staging elements on-site when required to do so
  • Assisting the Warehouse Technicians with the preparation and transfer of AV equipment between storage, prep areas and transportation
  • Strong customer service is essential to maintain and build the business
  • Experience within a client facing environment
  • To ensure the security of the company’s assets when working on site and in the warehouse
  • In carrying out the above responsibilities, helping to achieve the best balance of cost control and service quality

  • You may be required to work periods within the warehouse during busy times returning to your onsite duties after each period
  • You may be required to drive, so a full driving license is required

  • Eager to learn whilst showing a willingness to continually develop new skills
  • Essential – technical or related AV industry qualifications

Experience in ideally at least two of the following areas:

Lighting & Data ProjectionAudio (Analogue or Digital)Video BEHAVIOURS/COMPETANCIES

  • Happy working in a team environment supporting colleagues to deliver our events to a high standard
  • Good time management skills & reliability in order to adapt to regularly changing demands and priorities
  • Good communication skills
  • Flexible outlook within a demanding industry/role
  • The ability to proactively resolve problems or escalate promptly as required
  • An awareness of the importance of high quality customer service (both internal & external)
  • The successful candidate will also be required to maintain current awareness of the AV and events industry
