Network Architect – Required Competencies:
- 5+ years of Enterprise Network Management
- 3+ years of Network Architectural Role
- Experience in developing, configuring, managing and supporting enterprise / service provider networks
- Demonstrated knowledge of network technologies through achievement of Cisco CCIE /JNCIE or equivalent expertise
- Experience of routing and switching and VPN protocols and technologies
- Extensive knowledge of Network Security, Threat Detection / Mitigation
- Strong leadership and negotiation skills with business and technical groups
- In-depth understanding of business strategy and ability to interact effectively with senior business managers and C-level executives
- Experience working with cross-functional teams to promote open communication and teamwork
- Experience with design, implementation and operation of large-scale enterprise and or service provider deployments of network and security infrastructures
Network Architect – Main Responsibilities:
Our client is a fast-growing leader in the Internet of Things and is looking for a Network Architect to help establish and maintain our communications network across the UK and EU businesses.- Act as technical design authority for the managed services network
- Definition of strategies, principles, and standards for its development
- Interaction with key business stakeholders to ensure ongoing alignment with the business direction and objectives
- Coaching and development of other support and design team members as well as leading project delivery
