Job Description

The key responsibilities of the role will include:

  • Recording and monitoring all financial approvals
  • Providing guidance to the wider business relating to regularity, special payments, seeking treasury approval when required
  • Managing audit feedback and responses and collating the audit recommendations
  • Considering and communicating audit responses and timescales
  • Monitoring actions being taken to follow given audit recommendations
  • Meeting with business leads to ensure the running of the audit processes and recommendations
  • Reviewing draft audit reports
  • Coordinating treasury minutes and delivering the minute update reports


  • The post holder will be required to partake in additional duties to support colleagues and the wider team.

The Successful Applicant

To successfully apply for this role colleagues must possess the following:

  • Part Qualified Accountancy qualification
  • Experience defining audit recommendations
  • Experience communicating and monitoring audit recommendations
  • Evidence of leadership capabilities
  • Impeccable verbal and written communication skills
  • Capability planning and monitoring processes
  • An understanding of commercial finance
