The role is as a software engineer who will join a team that develops a distributed build accelerator that distributes C/C++ compilation and other data processing tasks across a network of computers. The software comprises native C++ client and server applications with an embedded HTTP server providing a web UI

My client, an innovative Software Development business developing tools for one of the world’s leading technology businesses are looking for a knowledgeable and skilled Software Tester to join their ever-growing team.

You will be responsible for developing and maintaining the software and its test systems, being involved in the design and implementation of all aspects of the system. You will work closely with customers to diagnose issues, to understand how they use the system, and to help shape the future of the product. You will have the opportunity to not just manage the development, but to play and test new tech before it even reaches the market!!

You will be responsible for taking the systems to the next level, capitalizing on modern virtualization, provisioning and associated technologies.

What’s needed for me to be considered?

  • Proven expert level C++
  • Proven expert debugging and post-mortem analysis skills
  • Native Win32 APIs
  • An interest in novel/innovative solutions to difficult problems
  • BSc in Computer Science or similar experience.
