Quality Compliance Technician
Summary of role
To assist the Quality Department in the completion of relevant duties The completion of Customer Complaints, the maintenance of our Quality Management System, Assurance of Supplier Quality, Maintain the Product Compliance Portfolio and to Complete Internal Audits as required.
In this role you can expect to cover a wide range of activities and should be prepared to travel if needed.
Duties and responsibilities
You’ll be responsible for ensuring the company complies with its outside regulatory requirements and to ensure internal policies, processes and procedures are followed.
To maintain Document Control for the Internal Quality Management System and to update the Associated Quality Intranet when required.
Work with Suppliers and Engineering to provide first off inspection, to generate reports and complete corrective action where required.
Assess the data provided on Product Compliance e.g. RoHS 2 and manage the maintenance of record keeping for continues supplier compliance.
Assist when required, in the resolution of any customer complaints.
Any other duties, as required.
Essential skills required:
Must hold a valid passport, driving licence and be prepared to travel at short notice.
Must have good computer skills.
Must be a quick learner and be prepared to learn whilst performing the role and through external training.
Must have the desire and commitment to undertake a Two-year training programme.
Must be confident to make external phone calls, chair meetings and have excellent communication skills.
Desirable skills required:
Knowledge and previous use of Efacs software.
Auditing experience of International standard(s).
Previous use of Visio Software or similar.
The ability to hyperlink documents.
Educations, Experience & Qualifications
Preferred but not essential - Internal auditor to ISO9001
Preferred but not essential - HNC in Engineering or equivalent level.
Preferred but not essential - Held a role previously in Quality Assurance.
