Engineering Project Administrator / Office Administrator

Location: Gloucester/Cheltenham

Type: Full-time Permanent

Salary: 20-28k plus bonus and benefits

This is a junior position in which you will assist the project engineers from an early stage of project development. You will be involved in different stage of the project process, and work closely with the project management and engineering team. You will also be responsible for day-to-day office administration.

We are looking for a smart and driven graduate who can quickly adapt in a busy and multi-disciplinary business, and develop their skills to become a project engineer.


  • Solid engineering, physical sciences grounding or science degree qualified in STEM subject, applicants with relevant postgraduate qualifications (MSc, MEng) welcome.

  • Highly organised and committed to do a good job.

  • High level of IT literacy. Demonstrable programming experience and problem solving abilities, you will have written code for engineering or scientific applications.

  • Valid UK driving licence.

  • Able to work permanently in UK.

About the projects:

Large scale embedded battery storage and power generation projects across the UK, with a particular focus on the distributed control application responsible for the control, monitoring and data collection. The supporting web application development will create an efficient and resilient remote operations platform.

About the team:

You will join a small, agile and multi-disciplinary team, leveraging your own unique skills to accomplish our goals. We develop and project manage the physical build of our sites and create our own software systems to control them. Our team members specialise in electrical and systems engineering, TCP networking, databases, Linux, python and NI Labview.
