How do I apply?

Key Responsibilities

Monitors Business systems and support services within scope of responsibility, ensuring that quality standards and service level targets are achieved.

Provides technical support for existing IT systems and business intelligence solutions, minimising the impact of any technical issues on the end users.

Analyses performance gaps of existing solutions and proposes improvements to address problems. Designs and realises interfaces between business applications wherever possible.

Oversee the development and implementation of specified technical solutions on time and within budget. Supports change-release processes and adherence to IT security guidelines.

Maximises the effectiveness of business intelligence usage, through effective training, coaching and ongoing support to the business stakeholders.

Liaise with the central Siemens Corporate IT centres of excellence, to interface with centrally managed systems and services, supporting the evaluation of new capability.

Liaise with internal & external service providers and software vendors to ensure the available systems meet the business requirements, supporting processes and the overall business strategy.

Supports the development of standard processes and procedures to cover specific business systems, as well as general IS governance policy.

Maximises the effectiveness of business system usage, supporting the business stakeholders in capturing the value of the improvements made to business process, through the use of systems support.

Keeps abreast of trends and industry standards in relation to Business systems capability and IT Service and Solution Management, incorporating into proposals where appropriate.

Competencies

Proven experience of technical support of Business Systems in a commercial environment.

Experience of developing and managing a complex Microsoft SharePoint implementation.

Experience of managing remote Windows server based application infrastructure in a data centre environment.

Understanding of Microsoft SQL and relational database design and strategies for managing complex business information.

Well developed communication skills. Able to quickly build rapport with business stakeholders.

Able to work to deadlines and changing priorities, whilst maintaining a professional approach at all times.

Knowledge of common scripting languages, such as C#, Visual Basic, html, JavaScript, CSS.

Use of Business Intelligence solutions such as SAP BI, Microsoft Stack, SSRS and Tableau.

Experience of deploying mobile applications within an IOS environment, via central management tools such as Airwatch.
