IT Service Desk/1st Line Support/Help Desk/IT Support/ Service Desk Engineer

Due to continued growth and enormous success, an exciting opportunity has arisen for another 1st Line IT Support/Helpdesk professional to join this ever expanding organisation. If you have previous IT Support, Helpdesk, Service Desk experience and you are looking to work in a fast paced and rewarding IT Support environment, this could be for you! The successful candidate will be given training and development (they provide an excellent training academy) and there are many opportunities for quick progression and development throughout the IT teams.
Providing IT Support/1st Line Support/Technical Support/Help Desk duties.
Recording of all Incidents/Requests.
Prioritisation and categorisation of Incidents and Requests.
Aid in diagnosing the cause of the incident through a structured process of investigation.
Provide full incident closure details including root cause analysis.
Progression into other areas of IT is available (2nd Line/Desktop Support)
Active Directory, Office 365, Exchange, Windows 7/8/10, Server 2008 (basic IT support skills required as training will be given).
Experience in an IT Support/1st Line/Helpdesk/Service Desk environment is essential.
Basic understanding of information systems.
Exemplary communication skills with the ability to explain IT issues to non-IT people.
An analytical, trouble-shooting mind-set, with a problem-solving personality.

You will be flexible, self motivated, and achievement orientated. The successful candidate will join a team of experienced 1st Line Support/Help Desk/Service Desk professionals and will be supported by the 2nd Line IT Support team. Excellent opportunities for quick progression into other areas of IT.

£18,000 - £20,000 basic + £2,000 performance related bonus (paid £500 per quarter). Excellent opportunities for progression and development.
