We're a growing ISP (named in the Top Tech 100 Firms in the North) with lots of awards to our name however we want to build on this exponentially by constantly developing and refining our products. That's where you come in
Working in conjunction with our in-house tech, sales and marketing teams in your new Product Manager role you'll be the barometer against which all new product development is measured against, testing the water with your unparalleled market knowledge and recommending ways to maximise commercial returns on their ideas. You will be our go-to person for market trends, competitor knowledge and what our customer are looking for in an ISP.
As Product Manager you'll match-make target companies with both new and existing products, tempting the marketplace with innovative and varied campaigns which really show off what we do.
Your work will directly influence operational and sales strategy so keeping on top of industry trends, training and events plus giving well-informed, authoritative reports will be crucial to this role.
You probably know better than we do how small this industry is so we're aware professional networks and strategic partnerships are central to how you operate as a Product Manager. We encourage you to maintain and strengthen those links whilst increasing product knowledge through in-house and external training.
This is currently a standalone position as it's the first of its kind within the company but the plan is to build up a team underneath you as we continue to expand so there a lot of opportunity to develop with us in terms of both technical and professional management skills.
What You Can Bring
If you're a Product Manager within an ISP or MSP environment we'd love to hear from you!
To be able to hit the ground running you'll need a background working within Ethernet and connectivity or a similar technical solutions organisation like voice, hosting and networking. We work within both Enterprise and Channel markets so would be looking for you to have experience of both.
It should go without saying that you need a strong track record of managing the entire product lifecycle for this Product Manager role plus contributing to varied go-to market strategies and developing operational plans.
