Opportunity for an experienced / qualified Commercial Gas Engineer to work for a reputable Facilities Management Company on various Commercial premises within the Retail and Catering Sectors, benefits include Company Van and Door to door pay.

The role of Commercial Gas Engineer in Birmingham;

To carry out Installation, Test, Maintenance, Reactive and Planned preventative work on Plumbing jobs including but not limited to Central Heating Systems, water pipes, waste pipes and commercial plumbed in appliances
To complete all works in accordance with current Gas Safe / OFTEC regulations
To provide in all cases where possible a First visit fix
May involve some night and weekend working covering an on-call rota
Roles available in Birmingham, Oxford, Cambridge, Luton and Bedfordshire

The Ideal Candidate for the role of Commercial Gas Engineer in Birmingham;

Will have the ability to test their own installation/maintenance work

Will have City & Guilds Plumbing Qualification or equivalent
Will ideally hold both Commercial and Domestic Certification in accordance with Gas Safe
Will understand IPAF and have Asbestos Awareness
Will have a minimum of 3yrs experience in reactive maintenance and installation in a commercial environment
Will be comfortable working with electronic devices such as tablets etc.
The role can be Physically demanding, and the ideal candidate should be physically fit
May be required to undertake a DBS check if they do not currently have one
Will have a Full UK Driving Licence
