About the role
We are currently recruiting for a Marketing Coordinator to join our expanding Academic Marketing Department, as part of the Social Sciences team. This position will provide you with a strong grounding in the principles and practice of academic publishing and marketing across books and journals.
Key accountabilities within the roles will include the coordination and implementation of social media activities, producing marketing collateral including email activity, working to InDesign templates and assisting Marketing Executives with conference organisation. You will also be responsible for editing and updating sections of Press websites and maintaining key databases, ensuring blurbs and bibliographic information are up to date.
What do we look for in a Marketing Coordinator?
You will ideally be qualified to degree level or equivalent and be able to demonstrate an interest in academic publishing and marketing. The job demands good organisational and time-management skills and attention to detail. The role is very varied and will provide an excellent grounding in marketing particularly digital marketing and conference management. You will be confident, self-motivated and able to work under your own initiative.
