Junior Implementation Consultant, Accounting Software
This is a super opportunity for someone with accounting knowledge, or an Application Support Consultant, or a Junior Implementation Consultant with accounting software knowledge, or someone working in accountancy, to join a thriving software company and grow into a full-blown Implementation Consultant role.
They would be happy to look at accounting people too, who have a qualification such as AAT, ACCA or FCA and are looking to move into Software Implementation, Training and Support. Starting salary to £28k plus company car, bonus scheme and private health care, based on the outskirts of Bristol heading towards Wales.
You will be working with the latest state-of-the-art accounting software delivered solely in the Cloud and available for PC, tablets and mobiles - accounting software on the go! You will work with their clients and will learn all aspects of consulting from software support, to installation of the accounting software and client training on a face to face basis at their offices and through remote web training.
You will talk to the clients about how they would use the accounting software and what their requirements are, run workshops to understand their business, then ensure that the software is configured and tested to suit their needs, and guide them through the installation stages and help them with their software queries and problems. You would also learn to write training documents, build long term relationships with your clients and make suggestions as to how they can make the most of the software and their investment.
So you need to be someone who likes talking to people over the phone and face-to-face, understands accounting, is flexible and happy to muck in and get involved with all aspects of the business, and wants to work in the IT software implementation and support field. You will be outgoing, ambitious and a good team member, happy to share your knowledge, work hard and have fun at the same time.
If you already have experience implementing or supporting accounting software solutions, then so much the better and you will be able to fast track your career. But they are happy to train you up in those aspects if you have the accounting knowledge (accounts payable, accounts receivable, ledgers etc.) and the right personality to become a Software Consultant. You must be happy travelling to client sites and therefore a driving license is essential.
