Operational Technology Network & Cyber Security Specialist

PURPOSE:

The primary role of the OT Security management team is to ensure that Machine critical networking projects operates according to ISA99/IEC 62443 industrial cybersecurity standard. The Cyber Security Specialist focuses on Critical infrastructure key resources portfolios and the role will provide support and guidance to OT Operations of all types of cyber security requirements that mitigate against the risk of losing confidentiality, integrity and availability of information assets, including legal or regulatory requirements.

ACCOUNTABILITIES/ Desired Candidate Profile (Skills & Requirements)

  • 8- 10 years of experience working for Market leading Industrial Networking vendors (Hirschmann/Moxa) who provide solutions for machine critical applications, operations & security.
  • Good understanding of, and solid experiences with Cyber Security standards and its impact on application development and OT operations as well as the OT Infrastructure.
  • Ensure that Cybersecurity processes, procedures and controls are well formalized & documented, up - to - date, and properly executed.
  • Perform risk assessment & provide timely accurate communication of security events and alerts to respective stakeholders as well as helping technical teams with the prompt resolution of security incidents.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, technical teams & vendor(s) for deployment of any new technology (tools, applications etc.) with respect Cyber security standards.
  • Aggregate all Cyber Security risks across business lines, paying particular attention to OT risks e.g. security, availability of resources, system interruption, business activities, etc.
  • Conduct awareness programs on various Information security topics (delivering induction sessions, IEC 62443 protocols demo, end - user trainings etc.).
  • University degree preferred in the field of Computer Science/Programming/Network Engineering/ Security / audit related education.
  • Very strong interpersonal and negotiating skills for all levels of staff. Ability to lead through influence rather than hierarchical relationships
  • Ability to drive, communicate and implement the ISA99 standards layered level of security in industrial applications like City Surveillance, Substations and Transportation etc.
  • Experience in training small teams in technical subjects matters.
  • Experience in code review will be an advantage.
  • Working closely with Sales team/operations teams on Key accounts to validate network solutions from Initial design stage of engineering to selecting appropriate product solutions.
  • Strong understanding of LAN Switching technologies (VLANs)
  • Knowledge on Networking ( Switching, Routing- e.g. RIP, EIGRP, OSPF, MPLS and BGP)
  • Wireless survey tools & Clear understanding of 802.11a/ b/ g/ n Wi- Fi standards
  • Excellent Knowledge on Wireless Controller and Access Points implementation and troubleshooting.
  • Coordinate with OEM for product related fixed, ensure high uptime and standardization of configuration in devices.
