Service Controller / Engineer Scheduler - Stratford - £26 - £27k

Hours - 37.5pw usually in the range 8:30am-5:30pm

Holiday - 23 days + bank holidays

Parking - none

We are currently seeking an experienced Service controller on behalf of our client who is a leading Waterbar supplier and part of a global organisation. The main responsibility of the role is to schedule and manage engineer's diaries whilst delivering a high level of customer service to customers. Successful applicants will be familiar with customer call handling and logging, organising and planning engineer despatch supported by effective and clear communication.

Key Responsibilities include:-

  • Scheduling optimum routes with our current systems or those you help implement
  • Day to Day support of the engineer team to ensure they complete scheduled work
  • Key customer point of contact for arranging call-outs where waterbars are not working properly
  • Updating all engineer sickness, holiday and re-allocating jobs where necessary
  • Rescheduling work (including incompletes) which cannot be completed as expected due to unforeseen circumstances and delivering the best customer rescheduling/customer contact experience
  • Full maintenance scheduling - ensuring that all our customers are serviced on time
  • Data for engineers for phone numbers
  • Responsible for ensuring all Technician comments post job are acted on accordingly

Person Specification:-

  • Experience of working within a fast paced customer service environment
  • At least 2 years' experience scheduling engineers
  • Possess strong decision making and prioritisation skills
  • Able to work under pressure and achieve deadlines and targets.
  • Have exceptional organisational skills
