Our clients IT Services team provides support to over 500 internal customers and we are responsible for developing, installing and maintaining a wide range of services to support business systems and processes. The team is routinely challenged with new technical requirements from our internal customers in the pursuit of market-leading innovations. Within this new role you will be responsible for the design, implementation, support, maintenance and continual improvement of a Enterprise Mobility Management (EMM) solution, telephony system, video conferencing and audio-visual systems.

You will be responsible for managing mobile network provider and telephony services and work with the security team to ensure all systems remain up to date and secure. Applicants will be creating and maintain technical documentation as well as delivering training and provide high-end technical support as appropriate. As the Infrastrucutre Engineer you will cover the rest of the team working on projects with Windows Server including AD DS and Azure AD and Windows software distribution and OS / application patching

Minimum Requirements

  • Experience of EMM implementation and ongoing administration, ideally with MobileIron or Intune
  • Telephony experience including on premise, cloud PBX and mobile phone support and administration
  • Experience of implementing and supporting audio visual systems including Video Conferencing
  • Strong technical knowledge of Active Directory
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot complex issues and investigate solutions
  • Strong technical knowledge and a desire to learn
  • Capable of working to defined procedures
  • Willingness to support all areas of the IT services user base as required
  • Excellent communication, documentation and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to work well within a small team
  • Good organisational skills

In addition, the following would be advantageous:

  • An understanding of Office 365, Azure AD and conditional access
  • Experience migrating from on-premises PBX to cloud
  • Experience of implementing BYOD
  • Knowledge of Windows PowerShell
  • Microsoft Exchange Online knowledge
  • Mac / Windows software distribution and OS/application patching experience
