My client in the Bridgend area is looking for a Software Engineer to work within their growing Software team.
You will have a solid or some understanding of the full software development life-cycle. SOO and UML design abilities are a must as well as the ability to develop and train others. Ideally, you will also have experience of a modern software project management paradigm - such as Agile. The software team develops applications across multiple operating systems (Linux, Windows, Android, iOS) and programming languages (C#, C++ and Java) - the ideal candidate will either have direct development experience or project management experience in all these domains.
Experience with C# .NET developer with a focus and expertise in developing WinForms applications. Working with TCP / IP is a must, as well as effective and stable multi-threaded programming. XML creation and manipulation experience is essential. Strong LINQ skills are also fundamental.
You would be expected to work closely with the rest of the RnD team and other departments to ensure projects are completed on time and to a high standard.
Your role would involve launching brand new product lines as well as maintaining existing products. You will be required to occasionally travel between different office locations in the UK and sometimes visit job sites when needed.
