We have an exciting vacancy for a Health Performance Accountant based in Eastleigh. The purpose of the role is to provide financial insight and analysis into the performance of the Health business; covering around £600m of PMI business across consumer, corporate and International business.

Your role is to influence the financial performance of the Health business through strong business partnering and stakeholder, project and internal customer engagement. Reporting to the Health Financial Performance Manager you will support and challenge the IT change portfolio and road map to ensure funding is utilised to its maximum potential, in order to drive the future profitability of the business forward. This encompasses support from the initial idea generation, through the creation of business cases and the approval gating processes and ends with benefit realisation once projects have delivered.

Liaising with the wider business you will also undertake a variety of ad-hoc investigations to drive value and insight in the Health products, sharing findings and presenting MI where necessary. This role is a key link between Finance and other parts of the Health business, as well as other units across the Aviva Group.

Duties & Responsibilities
•Development and management of financial models and analysis appropriate for Aviva Health business
•Support and influence product and business strategy through product insight, segmentation and analysis
•Help facilitate, manage and produce the financial forecasting for the Health business
•Cost Benefit Analysis
•Benefit Realisation
•Monitoring and provision of insight into the performance of our PMI book
•Expense Analysis
•Support of product planning
•Financial communication to key stakeholders

Skills & Experience required
•Fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
•Detailed accounting knowledge
•UK and international GAAP
•Analysis skills
•Excel knowledge
•Commercial understanding
•Planning and organising
•Report writing and presentational skills
