The Role
The main purpose of the position is to provide paraplanning support to the founder and sole IFA at the firm.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Paraplanner to join a growing firm, one that embraces modern-day work practices.
Responsibilities:
- Producing detailed, accurate, technical reports, for clients.
- Formulating comprehensive plans for High Net Worth individuals.
- Preparing technical analysis for client meetings (using Excel / Voyant / Synaptics / Dynamic Planner).
- Creating and updating bespoke 'Asset Allocation' reports.
- Maintaining the company's client propositions.
- Updating Intelligent Office daily.
- Contributing towards the firm's GDPR policies.
- Preparing standard, transfer and complex suitability letters to clients.
- Liaising with clients, fund managers, platforms and insurers.
- VCT/EIS administration & research.
Candidate requirements
- Excellent English language communication skills (both written and oral).
- Strong organizational skills including abilities to multi-task and prioritise.
- Team player who is also capable of working individually.
- Microsoft Excel & Microsoft Word experience, preferably, to an advanced level.
- A can-do attitude, a proactive mindset and a strong work ethic.
- Professional pride in appearance, punctuality, and very high standard of work.
Compensation
£30,000 - £40,000 base salary plus annual discretionary bonus.
