Process Engineer – Semiconductors – Co. Durham – U/IM288
Salary / benefits - Dependent upon experience c£30-35k

A leading developer of organic semiconductor materials, is now looking for a Process Engineer to support development and validation of the materials and processes.
Based at their facility in County Durham, you will occasionally be required to travel to other UK and overseas sites. Therefore you are required to be flexible on working arrangements.
Reporting to the Process Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for defining and developing reproducible fabrication processes to O-TFT test device and demonstrator vehicles in a clean room environment.
You will work with the team to develop and maintain process control methodologies using large scale metrology tools to control and improve fabrication processes.
You will work with Test Engineers to use parametric and reliability test data to drive device fabrication process improvements.
In addition to developing and improving fabrication processes, you will be responsible for documenting the processes and contribute to the technology transfer documentation.
As the successful candidate you will be qualified to a minimum of BSc in Physical Science, Electronic Engineers or Material Science.
You will have previously worked as Process Engineer in a semiconductor or display technology company.
Previous experience working in a clean room in semiconductor display fabrication process development, is preferred.
You will be familiar with Plasma Etch, Photolithography, Spin and Slot Die Coating, Vacuum Deposition and patterning on flexible and glass substrates.
You should also have experience in Process Metrology, including film thickness, surface energy and surface measurement.
Preference will be given to candidates who have experience transferring process development from a start-up environment to full scale manufacturing.
Candidates MUST be eligible to work and live in the UK. Copies of Visa and Passport will be requested.
