Based in our Head Office, near Manchester Airport

Salary £18 - £20K + excellent company benefits

Meridian Business Support is recruiting for a Purchase Ledger Administrator to join their well established team based at our Head Office near Manchester Airport.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Allocation of Direct Debit payments
  • Liaising with suppliers re invoice queries, statement queries and account balances
  • E-mailing of remittance advices
  • Statement reconciliations
  • Preparing and sending of payment runs ensuring within allocated budget
  • Monitoring aged trail balance
  • Updating and monitoring supplier details - eg bank details, address
  • Logging, coding and entering all invoices onto Dynamics for Meridian Business Support
  • Scanning of all invoices for authorisation to branches
  • Dealing with all branches and head office queries relating to suppliers

The Successful Candidate will have:

  • Purchase Ledger experience would be advantageous although not essential
  • Prioritising daily work requirements with the ability work to strict deadlines
  • Ability to communicate effectively by telephone and email with suppliers and internal personnel
  • Attention to detail and methodical
  • PC literate and comfortable learning new systems
  • Self confidence
