We have an excellent new opportunity for an experienced Auditor, to join our global organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and conducting professional management system audits in accordance SGS' procedures to enable delivery of assessment and certification services that meet customer requirements and appropriate accreditation standards.

Key Accountabilities

* Conduct audits (desk-based or on client's sites) in accordance with management systems standards (ISO 9001, ISO14001)
* Maintain a high standard of service delivery that ensures effective customer relationships and ongoing business development
* Complete all chargeable work within the required budget and timeframes to ensure customer satisfaction and efficiency of the business
* Ensure completion of all assigned work and relevant documentation in accordance with required procedures and standards to fulfil customer expectations
* Provide accurate and timely reporting to assist the planning and management of operations

The successful candidate will have experience in positions with significant QMS, EMS responsibility, and will demonstrate excellent working knowledge of management system (ISO 9001, ISO14001) standards and auditing techniques. The ideal candidate will have completed a recognized QMS or Lead Auditor qualification and will have experience of auditing in four of the following Industry sectors:

* Plastics
* Heavy / High-risk Manufacturing
* Printing
* Fabricated Metal Products
* Machinery
* Electrical equipment and Instruments
* Construction
* Architectural/Engineering
* Food
* Chemicals
* Waste & Sanitation
* Construction.

This is a regional role predominantly covering London and the home counties, with occasional national travel. Your role will be field based and therefore candidates must hold a full driving license, and will be flexible to travel with occasional overnight stays.
