Customer Service Technical Support

LOCATION: Peebles, Scottish Borders (This position will require regular travel around the UK as well as periodic EU Travel)


SALARY & BENEFITS: Competitive Benefits Package – including pension

WORKING HOURS: Office hours are 9am – 5pm but flexible working arrangements will be considered.

THE COMPANY: Our client specialises in the supply of capital machinery into the Wine, Spirits, Drinks, Food and Personal Care Industry. Their customers are world renowned organisations and pride themselves on the level of customer service given to their clients.

THE ROLE: This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with a customer service background, perhaps in a technical environment, OR for a current technician or engineer looking to move to an office based environment.
Based from our client’s head office in Peebles you will work closely with the engineering team to ensure our client’s customers receive the highest standard of technical support whether dealing with planned maintenance, spare parts, or large scale overhauls, supporting customer enquiries and service requests by actively planning and managing to completion.
The Customer Service Technical Support position requires a strong customer focus with direct responsibility for day to day first point of contact with customers; as such you will make regular visits to key customers and work closely with our client’s manufacturers in Italy.

THE CANDIDATE: The ideal candidate will have previous experience within a similar role or environment. Our client is looking for ambitious, enthusiastic and proactive individuals to join the existing team at an exciting time of ongoing growth and expansion to support their Customer Service and Technical Support functions based out of their Peebles office. The successful Customer Service Technical Support person will be a self-starter who is able to work in a team. Key experience / skills for the role of Customer Service Technical Support position based in Peebles:

Must live within a commutable distance of Peebles
Driving Licence is preferred
Will have strong customer service skills
