Your new role
As a result of becoming part of a Multi Academy Trust, the finance department have taken on a new role with extra responsibilities therefore a Finance Administrator is needed to help manage the changes. The school are looking to hire a well organised and enthusiastic Finance Administrator where you will be reporting directly to the Finance Manager.
As part of the role, you will be responsible in ensuring that the school's financial records are maintained efficiently and accurately according to school policies, audit regulations and standards set out in the Academies Financial Handbook. You will have excellent attention to detail as you will be assisting in the preparation of the monthly financial reports, completing general financial and administrative duties such as payment of creditors, assist in administrating the finance system and provide advice and guidance to the staff across the schools in relation to any queries
What you'll need to succeed
For this Finance Administrator role, you will need to have recent and relevant experience within an education environment as well as excellent communication skills. You will need demonstrable ICT skills including the use of Microsoft Word and Excel as well as experience of using different financial software. You will need to have a minimum of 5 GCSE's at C Level or above (or equivalent) including Maths and English.
