My client, one of the UK's leading independent retail stockbrokers based in Aylesbury, Bucks, is actively looking to recruit a Corporate Actions Manager to join their highly successful Team based in their Head Office. Reporting to the Operations Manager the candidate will manage the Corporate Actions Team, Monitor performance, in addition to mentoring and developing the Team Members. The client rewards talented individuals and you will be recognised for your skills and ability within this role. Currently working within an Investment, Corporate Actions environment you will have strong motivational and leadership skills and will hold ideally one of the Investment Qualifications, IMC or IAQ preferably.

The main duties will include the following:-

Manage and motive the Corporate Actions function and team

Ensure timely collection and communication of operational MIs

Seek continuous improvements to existing process, systems and procedures with a view of improving efficiency and/or controls

Introduce & maintain company wide and team specific service standards

Ensure All corporate actions are processed accurately and communicated to customers in line with the stated timescales whilst adhering to FCA regulations

Ensure reconciliation discrepancies with respect to All corporate actions are promptly identified and cleared

Ensure All processing market claims are claimed from the necessary clients and market makers

Ensure a sound Complaint handling and resolution process within responsibilities

Ensure no breaches of FCA and other regulations within responsibility

Ensure CASS compliance, avoid breaches and maintain CASS awareness within your responsibilities

Maintain good intra & interdepartmental communications

Actively seek ways of cost saving initiatives

Actively take part in improving customer experience, including the development of online functions

Manage your team ensuring they are developed through training, coaching and mentoring to perform at a high level

Ensure good relationships with All departments around the organisation and encourage co-operative development opportunities through mentoring and shadowing

Attend appropriate Management Development Programmes

Conduct regular Performance Development Reviews in line with company procedures

Ensure staff are trained to a level required for their role

Carry out monthly cal monitoring for the team

Provide advice and guidance to All staff on work related issues.

- Participate in relevant CASS training throughout the year

- Ensure relevant staff are aware of CASS through updated processes and procedures and on the job training

Manage your team ensuring they are developed through training, coaching and mentoring to perform at a high level

Ensure good relationships with All departments around the organisation and encourage co-operative development opportunities through mentoring and shadowing

Attend appropriate Management Development Programmes

To be considered you must be able to demonstrate the following :-

- Excellent understanding of Corporate Actions
- Good understanding of Financial Markets and Products, regulations and settlement procedures
- Knowledge of Stock Market Workings and FCA Regulations
- Knowledge of CREST and Investment Products
