Position: Junior Full Stack .Net Developer - fast track career
Suitable for: Graduate Developer / Trainee Full Stack Developer / Entry Level Full Stack Developer (with passion for learning) - with .Net / C# experience (gained commercially or through academic or personal study)
Location: Leeds, West Yorkshire (approx. 10 min walk from train station)
Salary: £22k - £24.5k (DOE) with potential 10% increase after 6 months + bonus + career development. As an indication, you should be earning £36k by year 3
Start Date: There are 3 places up for grabs starting 29th May 2018 (interviews to take place March, April & May)
The Graduate / Junior Full Stack .Net Developer will initially be fast tracked through a 6-month fast track Academy programme, details of which are below. This is an excellent and unique opportunity open to anyone with a passion for learning, an interest in becoming .Net / C# Full Stack Developer and who wants to accelerate their career.
Experience (gained commercially or through academic or personal study) :
- .Net C#
- SQL Server or Oracle
- Strong understanding of Object Oriented programming
- Experience / familiarity with Agile development methodologies
- Genuine interest and desire to pursue career within web application development
- Strong desire to learn new technologies and passion for learning
- Excellent communication skills
- Preference will be given to anyone who can demonstrate personal project work, self-learning or attending tech meet-ups
Utilising a special knowledge transfer methodology to create and develop a programme that combines practitioner led training, self-learning, hands-on application development and mentoring will result in 'project ready’ Junior Developers in just 6 months.
This covers all the key foundation knowledge and understanding, with ongoing skills and aptitude assessment in the context of Agile project delivery. At the end of three milestone assessment points, the Graduate / Junior Full Stack .Net Developer is tasked with delivery of a 4 week/4sprint agile project to demonstrate capability and competence.
In a second 12-week phase, the Graduate / Junior Full Stack .Net Developer will be given the opportunity to demonstrate, prove competence and build capability in the context of real project deliverables as a contributing team member.
