A fantastic opportunity as a housing officer has emerged to join a local authority in West London. The duration of this role is for 3 months with the possibility of the contract being extended due to your own performance within the role.

Our client is looking for someone who can assist and support the independent living residents.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

1.Respond to complaints and member's enquiries.

2.Assist tenants in sustaining their tenancy by referrals to agencies that can help with their needs such as financial inclusion, welfare benefits and debt/legal advice.

3.Ensure communal areas and estates are clean, safe and well maintained through regular monitoring and inspection. To escalate incidents of substandard performance of the caretaking, cleaning and grounds maintenance service where necessary.

4.Investigate all cases of anti-social behaviour, domestic violence, and hate crime. Ensure casework is progressed professionally, promptly, and in accordance with our client's policies and charters.

5.Take appropriate remedial or enforcement action where there are breaches of lease, tenancy or licence.
