Your new role
As Audit Manager, you will be responsible for a team of 8 and will report to the Audit partner. As well as delegating workload to the team, your role will involve accounts preparation and managing the audit process which will involve planning and final completion. You will manage a portfolio of clients which will mostly involve incorporated and unincorporated charities and larger charitable groups but will also include limited companies, partnerships and LLPs. You will also be given the opportunity to get involved in more complex accounting & audit work, depending on client needs. The firm can offer excellent progression opportunities with real routes to partnership for the right person.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful having Charities audit experience is an absolute must. You must have previously worked in a similar role within Practice which involved accounts finalisation and charity audits. You must have experience of managing a team and will be willing to work hard in order to progress the team and your career.
