Partnership Manager

Salary - £25,000 - £32,000 per annum

Hours - 37.5 hours per week

Location - Dagenham, Essex, with some national travel required

Contract End Date-31st March 2019

FaithAction is solution focused, with a particular emphasis on influencing local and national policy. We want to do what we can to make things better! We are keen that those who join us have an eye to support our policy areas, do you know about health and social care policy? Are you aware of the latest government policies on VCSE, integration & Community and Family - are you willing to find out and provide research aid to our senior policy staff.

We are currently looking to recruit a Partnership Manager you will take the lead on our Creative English Programme representing FaithAction to members, official’s funders and local leaders.

You will head up a team with line management responsibilities, as well as being part of the of the FaithAction senior team with an overview of all our work.

Developing strong working relationships with civil servants (MHCLG) preparing reports and fielding data, evidence and policy requests.

Working closely with the data/tech support and Trainers to collect data, evidence and reports from the Hubs and input the data into the monitoring system to ensure adequate monitoring and reporting of FaithAction programme (e.g. the Creative English programme).

Working closely with the Creative English teaching staff to ensure that Creative English Hubs are able to deliver the course effectively, in line with the ethos, and report back on the progress of the learners.

Building strong relationships with the Creative English hubs, developing and managing continued partnerships - and being the regular point of connection. Visiting Creative English Hubs frequently to assess the quality of their provision, including, dip-testing paperwork, reviewing learning feedback and speaking to learners - gleaning stories that 'sell’ the programme both to funders, interested audiences and learners.

Producing reports on the work of hubs and other areas that they are involved in to help shape FaithAction’s broader work.

Assessing the progress of the Creative English hubs, extracting qualitative case studies and impact stories, aiding in our evidence collection programmes - ensuring high quality, effective provision is promoted.

Managing and tracking partnership payments and other expenditure - ensuring that processes are followed and that these are requested in a timely fashion, with a pleasant manner and an eye for detail.

You will be an Ambassador for FaithAction and the group of Lifeline charities, able to grasp and communicate our values and aims as well as articulate the benefits of different services and products.

We are looking for a Partnership Manager who has previous experience in administration, contract and account management and who is educated to a graduate level.

First class communication skills both verbal and written, with the ability to write accurately and concisely in tight times frames. This will include writing case studies for different audiences.

The ability to recall key information stats and sales in swift verbal summary as well as more formal reports.

The aptitude for training - particularly related to Creative English.

Knowledge of working with the Voluntary Sector, particularly faith-based organisations and a positive attitude towards the work of faith based organisations.
