Tradewind are recruiting! Do you have strong behaviour management skills looking for your next role in a PRU in Manchester?

Tradewind are currently working with a federation of secondary PRU's across central Manchester. The role is has a flexible start date, preferably after Easter, paying from £60 per day.

The federation has numerous sites across Manchester supporting a maximum of 16 pupils in each centre. They aim to provide the same level of qualifications as a mainstream school. They particularly focus on providing one to one support and small group intervention in addressing social and emotional behavioural barriers to learning.

The ideal candidate will need the following skills:
* Strong behaviour management skills
* Background in youth work
* Good sense of humour, approachable and flexible
* Have Team Teach training qualification

The role:
* Supporting students on a 1:1 basis who have been excluded from mainstream school
* Working collaboratively with class teacher
* A strong, supportive and highly experienced leadership team and governing body

The school is easy to reach with local transport links and on-site parking across all sites.

The federation has a strong behaviour support team with additional support from senior leadership team. There are opportunities for CPD to build on your skill set.

The essentials:
To join us and be successful in this Teaching Assistant role you will need to:
* Hold a Level 2 Teaching Assistant or equivalent qualification
* This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
* Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained
* You must have the legal right to work in the UK
