Teaching Assistant - Psychology Graduate

Are you looking to become an Education Psychologist or Occupational Therapist? Or have you thought about becoming a Primary Teacher?

Do you have previous Learning or child based experience with EBD?

Would you like to work in a progressive South London School as a Teaching Assistant?

As a mentor / Teaching Assistant, have you had personal experience of mentoring a child's behaviour and learning?

Working closely with the pupil's parents will be incredibly important, superb experience for a future career in Psychology.

This role is excellent for a future career as an Occupational Therapist, Clinical or Education Psychologist. Having previous experience, voluntary or paid, prepares you for the challenges and rewards you will face within the learning mentor / SEN Teaching Assistant role.

*** role to start ASAP and September 2017

***C grade for GSCE Maths and English is a must for raising attainment

***Some previous experience of Youth work or SEN for learning mentor role

***Previous experience with SEN and EBD will be a big advantage, necessary in such SEN Teaching Assistant roles

***£65-75 per day for this Teaching Assistant - Psychology Graduate

Teaching Assistant - Psychology Graduate

-5 days a week, working 1:1 with a EBD pupil, ensuring the pupil's attainment and behaviour increases

-Learning from the SENCo and fellow learning mentors, readying for your future career in Psychology or Health and Social Care

-Working closely with pupil's parents to ensure what is carried on at school is continued at home

-Understanding the pupil's EBD's requirements so he can stay in mainstream education
