Robertson Bell Finance are recruiting an interim Finance Assistant to join a well established charity in Surrey. This role will be for an initial period of up to three months on a fixed term contract basis, with potential to be extended.

Reporting directly to the Finance Business Partner, you will ensure efficient financial support is provided to the wider finance team. You will have responsibility for the following duties; coding and processing all invoices, producing effect credit control reports, performing cashier duties, completing reconciliation of balance sheet, bank accounts and credit card transactions, and maintaining all ledgers such as purchase, sales and general. You will also be responsible for the accurate processing of payroll data.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual willing to learn different aspects of finance. You will be proactive, eager to develop and have the ability to adapt to a challenging environment. The ideal candidate will strive to help the charity achieve its goals. You will need to take ownership for delivering on core finance tasks with minimal supervision. Being a proficient user of Sage is essential for this role, in particular Sage 200 and Sage Payroll. Having previous experience in the charity sector is desirable.
