My client is a top tier, 65 partner full service law firm with a history rooted in the South West of the UK but growing within London. The firm advises clients across the UK and internationally across all areas of the law, focusing its sector expertise on finance and investment, private wealth and real estate.

The firm's open and collegiate culture is a recognised strength by both its clients and employees. This collegiate style also allows it to work very well as a team and towards its common aim of delivering exceptional client service.

The firm's London office is driving its growing international-focused practice. The London based Corporate team advises on the type and size of transactions that would be more typical of a much larger, international firm. However, the firm's London team has extensive experience in the range of capital markets, trade finance, private equity, international investment and distressed restructuring.

The firm's name and quality of its service is gaining increasing awareness in London. The firm's Corporate team has an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and talented lawyer to join the practice in its growing, enthusiastic and hard-working London office.

In this role, you would be working as part of an experienced and growing, entrepreneurial team and will have the opportunity to further expand your knowledge with the benefit of knowledge resources and support of a quality found in a Top 20 law firm. The opportunity will also offer a real opportunity for career progression.

The successful candidate will handle a variety of medium to large scale deals, working with a diverse client base. The team advises on a full range of corporate work including Mergers and Acquisitions, and thus some experience of Blue Book work will be an advantage (but not necessary).

The firm also advises on UK capital markets (particularly AIM), Private equity and Venture capital (acting for investors, investee companies and management teams) and International investment.

The firm also has a recognised emerging markets practice, acting for clients in some of the most challenging frontier markets.

The ideal candidate will have a solid grounding in corporate law from a recognised corporate team at a London, regional or national firm and also have a real willingness to become part of an offering where quality of service is the absolute focus.

Experience Required:

•3-5 years' post-qualification experience in a broad range of corporate transactions

•Enthusiastic team player

•Proactive, and willing to take responsibility

•Excellent attention to detail

•Strong academics

•Excellent communication skills

This is a great opportunity to join a progressive and forward thinking firm that is highly-recommended because of the quality of its people and depth of experience across the whole team. This experience has resulted in the firm gaining a reputation in the market for getting deals done.
