Our client a large insurance organisation is seeking to appoint a number of experienced Sales Telephone Account Manager to work within a newly establish team.

You will be operating within a multi-skilled team, forming the only contact for a defined group of Brokers. You will be the focal point within the team for targeting development, growth and business improvements, interfacing between the Brokers and the team and facilitating and accelerating profitability.

Your key accountabilities are to;

  • Gain commitment on new quotes received.

  • Act as liaison between the broker and underwriting team.

  • Help increase conversion rate on new quotes and overall business volumes.

  • Help improve retention rates.

  • Keep brokers informed on quote progression.

  • Cross sell wherever appropriate.

  • Achieve new business/retention of business targets.

  • Achieve sales campaign targets.

  • Effectively develop broker panel.

  • Mange broker relationship and their current account.

  • Agree annual business plan with brokers.

  • Conduct site visits as appropriate.

  • Maintain underwriting standards in line with the principles of managing underwriting.

  • Promote the companies products and services.

  • Systems and related process knowledge.

  • Proven successful track record of profitable business development.

  • Educated preferably to A level standard or equivalent.

    Salary & Benefits

    Our client is looking to attract the best calibre of candidates in the market and is willing to pay £17,000 to £21,000 as a base salary, however for the right individual the client is prepared to pay what it takes to get the right candidate on board. The role is working a 35 hour week and comes with a annual bonus structure, a pension scheme, 23 days holiday rising to 25 days by the 5 year of service (plus bank holidays). A flexible benefits scheme and structured personal development training is also on offer for the right candidate.
