As Service Manager – Media Operations, reporting to the Head of Operations, you will own all Service Management & Service Ownership tasks related to Scheduling/Ingest/VOD and any other media management activity.

As Service Manager – Media Operations, reporting to the Head of Operations, you will own all Service Management & Service Ownership tasks related to Scheduling/Ingest/VOD and any other media management activity.


This will include responsibility for implementing and maintaining operational systems and processes to provide a high level of service delivery in accordance with contracts and agreed procedures, typically. Supporting the timely resolution and documentation of service-related incidents, you’ll also provide out-of-hours, on-call support in addition to attending regular review meetings with customers.

As well as ensuring compliance with ISO9001:2000 and maintaining a secure working environment, you’ll also:

• ensure requirements and expectations are defined for all stakeholders.
• develop and implement a continuous service improvement cycle across operational processes.
• contribute to the development of new services and business development opportunities.
• ITIL-qualified, you have a proven track record in and in-depth operational knowledge of service and
• incident management within the context of linear and non linear workflow solutions.
• Able to work under pressure in a dynamic environment and use your own initiative, you have excellent communication, interpersonal and customer-facing skills, along with the ability to prepare clear and concise fault reports.

Highly customer-focused, you have a clear understanding of relationships throughout the
satellite and media estate, in addition to:
• exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail.
• first-class analytical skills.
• the flexibility and willingness to be involved in call-out as part of the escalation procedures.
