Highly regarded commercial brokerage has a new vacancy for a Commercial Claims Handler in Leeds.

The role will involve assisting in the presentation, negotiation and settlement of commercial claims, taking details of the claim from the client and collating together all relevant supporting documentation.

You will liaise closely with your clients, the Account Executives and/or Loss Adjusters if appropriate in order to progress the claim, which can involve client visits or insurer visits where required.

In addition you will provide claims history and statistics to account handlers/executives for renewal negotiations.

Applicants applying for this vacancy will have a sound knowledge of all commercial classes that must include property, liability and motor experience from either a commercial broking or insurer environment.

A team playing attitude is required as you form an important link between client and insurer. Insurance qualifications preferable.
