The ideal Occupation health nurse will have previous experience and will specialise in the care and well being of people in the work place.

This is a temporary three-month contract likely to be extended with Part-time hours of three days a week from 08:00-16:00 or 08:30-16:30. To start ASAP.

Daily roles include,

• Maintaining a safe and hygienic environment compliant with healthcare procedures.
• Providing instant care for medical emergencies.
• Provide profession advice and guidance to a client.
• Travelling outside of the trust into clients work places to provide occupation health providing sound clinical advice and treatment.
• Clinical assessments of clients with injury and minor illness
• Maintains contemporaneous records as per policies and NMC guidance.
•Provide and write to specialists and GP's in line with the access to medical reports act and data protection act.
•Provide assessments/ support and information of clients working environments.
•Assess clients fitness to work for appropriate job's inline with policies and guidelines.
•First point of call to provide clinical support.

Essential Skills,

•Minimum of 1 years nursing experience in the NHS.
•Good organisation skills, demonstrating an ability to work under pressure
•NMC Registration.
•Relevant degree or qualification.
•IT and computer literate
•Ability to independently travel around the Trust - must have a car
•Good verbal and written communication skills
•Personal Care
•Manual handling
•Safeguarding Training
