St. James’s Place Wealth Management are looking for talented and engaging L&D professionals to join our expanding training team. You will be working with our national Academy programmes developing candidates’ knowledge and skills; our established Partner and Adviser populations; and helping to shape and develop our blended learning approach.

Please note that regular national travel and overnight stays will be required as part of this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering expert training within our Academy programmes, developing technical knowledge and advisory skills, helping to achieve St. James’s Place growth targets.

  • Designing and Developing effective classroom training and other learning materials across a variety of media including e-learning, video and webinar.

  • Developing and applying your technical expertise, across our learning proposition, to ensure current and relevant development support for all our audiences.

  • Over time, becoming a 'course-lead’ for key programmes, ensuring appropriate evolution of the syllabus, consulting with our stakeholders and recommending improvements.

    Technical Knowledge & Qualifications:

  • Likely to be CII Diploma Qualified (or equivalent) or actively working towards it and likely to hold a formal training qualification.

    Required Skills:

  • An established track record of successfully developing others which is likely to involve extensive experience in training or similar roles.

  • Ability to communicate effectively in an engaging and influential manner.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication, with extensive experience of MS Office.

  • Ability to attain CII Diploma and a recognised training qualification if not already held. St. James’s Place will support you with this requirement.

  • Knowledge and experience of UK financial services.

    Preferable Skills:

  • Coaching skills

  • Experience of blended-learning, video, webinar etc.
