We have a fantastic opportunity for a Registered Nurse to join the team at Beauchamp House, our friendly elderly care nursing home near Taunton Salary - £15.75 per hour with paid breaks (pending pay review at the end of March) Hours - Part-time 12 hours per week, plus extra shifts often available As a nurse at Beauchamp House you'll be part of our friendly care team who are pivotal to our residents' day-to-day enjoyment of a dignified and fulfilling life. You'll take responsibility for care planning and drug administration in this supportive working environment. In addition regular contact with residents' families and friends, as well as with other health professionals, is part of this role and will need to be managed confidentially and sensitively. The clinical team at Beauchamp House take particular pride in the first class palliative/end of life care they provide. Beauchamp House in the village of Hatch Beauchamp and provides high quality residential and nursing care. The home has been renovated and extended to provide two new wings in keeping with the original Georgian architectural style to deliver the highest standards of care to residents. For more details about Beauchamp House please see: http://www.care-south.co.uk/homes/beauchamp-house/ This role will involve covering early (7.45am to 2pm) and late (1.45pm to 8pm) shifts or long days, including alternate weekends and some Bank Holidays (plus pay enhancements).About you:You will be RGN or RMN qualified with a current NMC PIN. Ideally you will bring prior experience of working with older people in a nursing home environment, however we will also consider and support qualified nurses who want to continue their career in this setting. You must be highly conscientious in your approach to work and able to work independently and lead a shift, including supervising care assistants.
