Field Service Engineer
Our client is a thriving, international, engineering company who manufacture specialist machinery for clients all over the world.
The operation employs a large workforce of dynamic and loyal staff who are experts in their field and the company has a financial yearly turnover in the region of £20 million.
This specialist machinery manufacturer is world leading in innovation and performance and requires a further Field Service Engineer to join the UK service operations team.
You will deliver outstanding technical field service to the customers
and be responsible for the installation, commissioning, remote and site support on highly advanced electrical/PLC/Pneumatic and Servo controlled systems.
When not traveling to customer site, you will be "home" office based, calling on customers and supporting a 24/7 technical support operation.
You will travel from time to time to the United States to support the US service operation during busy periods and for training and other functions that are assigned to your role.
The successful candidate will have prior experience with Allen Bradley systems, so experience on PLC, Servo and Powerflex VFD drives is preferred and a good working knowledge of Windows Operating system and embedded software systems.
Minimum of two years electrical, mechanical and pneumatic diagnostic experience.
Basic Salary £35'000 to £40'000, opportunity to earn in the region of £60'000 with overtime, company car, contributory pension, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays.
