Newly Qualified Nurse - RGN - Treatment Centre - Plymouth, South West - £26,000 - £27,000 per annumWorking Hours 37.5 hours per weekI am currently recruiting for a Newly Qualified Registered General Nurse ( RGN ) to work within a treatment centre in Plymouth. This is a permanent opportunity to work in a superb NHS treatment centre.The treatment centre has just received an "outstanding" rating from the Care Quality Commission (CQC), the treatment centre is the first independent sector treatment centre to achieve this. Within this role you will expected to deliver a high standard of patient care, supported by evidence based practice. The successful Newly Qualified Nurse will be assessing, planning and implementing and evaluating care as part of a collaborative programme of patient care.You will need to have the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of staff throughout the treatment centre on a daily basis, such as surgeons, anaesthetists and SSD. As a Newly Qualified Nurse - RGN you will be responsible for:Promoting patient's independence by establishing patient care goals; teaching patient, friends, and family to understand condition, medications, and self-care skills; answering questionsAssuring quality of care by adhering to therapeutic standards; measuring health outcomes against patient care goals and standards; making or recommending necessary adjustments; following hospital and nursing division's philosophies and standards of care set by state board of nursing, state nurse practice act, and other governing agency regulationsResolving patient problems and needs by utilizing multidisciplinary team strategiesMaintaining safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations; calling for assistance from health care support personnelProtecting patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols, medication administration and storage procedures, and controlled substance regulationsDocumenting patient care services by charting in patient and department recordsMaintaining continuity among nursing teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needsAs a Newly Qualified Nurse - RGN you will have:A Registered Nurse ( RGN ) qualificationCurrent registration with the NMC and a legal right to work in the UKIf you are an enthusiastic Newly Qualified Registered General Nurse (RGN) who is motivated and eager to learn then send your CV to l.hedley@liquidhc.com or call Lydia on 0161 238 7489
