Registered Children's Home Manager - Blackpool
I am recruiting for a Registered Children's Home Manager to join my client at their brand new home near to the Blackpool area of Lancashire.The appointed Registered Manager will be rewarded with; a very attractive salary, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays (rising with service), cashback scheme and quarterly bonus.This is an existing home and the role is available due to an internal restructure.Last year, this company extended their portfolio with the opening of around 4 new services with 3 of these homes being rated 'Outstanding' by OFSTED on their first ever inspection. This is a rare opportunity to join a market leading organisation and be part of this ongoing success.A Full UK Driving License is required for this role.The Position:As this is a brand new home, you will be involved in every aspect of getting the service registered with OFSTED as well as securing new placements. Other duties will include, but are not limited too;- Recruit a staff team- Implement tailored care plans for each young person- Ensure the home is running at a consistently high standard ready for inspection by OFSTED- Keep in regular contact with your Head of Service, reporting any changes or alerting them to any issues The Person:- NVQ Level 4 in Health and Social Care as minimum, with willingness to work towards Diploma Level 5 if not already held- Experience of working within a children's home at either a Deputy or Registered Manager level- Excellent knowledge of OFSTED requirements and current legislationsInterested?
