Hampton’s are currently working with a charitable organisation who provide residential and Supported Living services for Adults with Learning Disabilities and complex needs.
We are leading the recruitment drive for a Marketing & Communications Officer based in North London.
This is a unique opportunity to join the Marketing & Communications, Fundraising and Business Development team. This newly formed department is at the forefront of delivering ambitious plans and strategies across the charity. The Marketing & Communications function is at the heart of this change and offers an exciting, hands-on challenge for the right individual.

Purpose of role:
Reporting directly to the Head of Marketing and Communications, you will bring a proactive, dynamic and professional approach; a demonstrable understanding of the work involved; and excellent written and oral communication skills. You will be keen to take the initiative in helping us progress our multi-channel communications work while developing your marketing and branding expertise in this high-profile role.
You will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the Marketing & Communications function within the organisation, providing appropriate support to other departments.
To communicate with the wider M&C, Fundraising and BD team to ensure that the Marketing and Communications strategy, the fundraising strategy, the business development strategy the wider organisational strategies support each other.

Key Job Responsibilities:


Help in the development and proposal of organisational policies and protocols on M&C issues
Provide ad hoc advice on policy and protocol issues relating to M&C issues across the organisation
Lead on the maintenance of a Marketing & Communications Manual.
Ensure brand guidelines and style guide are up to date and adhered to across the organisation.
Lead on the management of photo shoots and video productions
Lead on the production and distribution of organisational collateral materials, such as leaflets and brochures.
Manage and where possible produce presentations for external and internal use.
Support other departments in the production of presentations, applications and tenders for external use.
Oversee the production of key organisational publications in easy to read formats
Develop and manage an effective process for sharing news across the organisation
Manage CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system.
Manage the delivery of the digital content outlined in the year planner.
Manage and support the development of the organisation’s presence on social media.
Manage the company’s website and intranet.
Lead on the production and distribution of press releases and media statements.
To play a key role in the organisation and administration requirement of internal events and conferences.
To coordinate and act as the first point of contact for internal and external stakeholder on regional and national events.
Participate in departmental business planning and budgeting.
Manage relationships with external suppliers.
Produce reports and statistics as required.
Represent the Marketing & Communications team and the organisation at relevant meetings and forums both internally and externally
