Let’s first picture the home… The home is a beautiful, 17th century country manor house which has been fully converted into a highly functional Nursing Home, doors and corridors widened, bright and airy rooms with stunning views and into the bargain South facing for residents too look out and enjoy a great British sunset. It has all the glory and presence of an old country manor house with the convenience of modernised conversions to enhance the ability to deliver nothing but the best care. Furnished to a remarkably high standard, providing elegance and comfort. The main principle for care is that each resident is an individual with specific needs and wants, eating habits, sleeping patterns and sense of humour – the care is based upon these factors. Now, let’s meet the team and introduce the residents… Your new manager has over 15 years’ management experience under her belt, she has previously been involved in the turnaround of homes which are failing CQC regulations and brought them back up to standard. She is doing a great job of keeping the standards up here too. She has numerous awards on her mantelpiece and most importantly she is bursting with passion and enthusiasm to keep her staff, residents and relatives satisfied and smiling. Your new residents, who I bet you can’t wait to meet, are aged 55 years upwards, and there are quite a few, in fact you will get the chance to interact with all 80 residents. The home specialised in Dementia care, Physical Disability, Multiple Sclerosis, Motor Neurone Disease, Parkinson’s Disease and Stroke Rehabilitation.
